Great news for those hip music lovers who want to brag about their favorite songs with their friends! The comments section platform, which was initially available only on Android and iOS devices, has now also been redesigned.

Knowledge-gaining activities are no longer done with annoying clumsy pop-up sheets covering the entire screen. As they can, there is now a special panel at the bottom in the pop-up box with all the tabs like Related, Lyrics, and Up Next. This means you can quickly check comments and use all the mini-player controls at the top if you need to pause, play, or cast your video on another device.

The newly added panel is also taller which provides an ample view of comments with less scrolling. Furthermore, the transition of the panel towards both states, in combination with the hopping features, makes the product a delightful device to use. These ideas are an excellent example of the integration of comments into the YouTube Music experience that allows users to feel like comments are a part of the music experience, not an afterthought.

But very soon it will be available for phones, there is no rush to wait for tablets. But there’s more good news: YouTube Music’s tech team says they’re currently working on bringing the gradients we see on iPhones’ backgrounds to Android smartphones in the future. So, now you can talk about popular tunes through a more direct and beautiful way of communication, which is YouTube Music.
