WhatsApp testing picture-in-picture for videos

Great news for multitaskers! Messaging giant WhatsApp is rolling out some new games in progress mode in its beta version and this is PiP mode for videos. This means you can now play embedded videos or watch videos in a WhatsApp group conversation without switching between an existing WhatsApp chat and other parts or sections of the app.

Before now, the PiP system was only dependent on YouTube and Instagram links. The ambiguous point (not the final punctuation mark yet), as observed by WABetaInfo, makes sentences easier to understand and users can organize their messages without any harsh restrictions. It’s almost as if you are chatting with your friend without leaving the WhatsApp screen. Because you can watch a funny video clip of your friend while you reply to another message within the WhatsApp interface.

It is worth noting that currently, it is only with the app where users see PiP (Picture in Picture) mode. Not at all, you will close WhatsApp in the meantime and play the video on some other app. However, this is no less than a big step forward compared to earlier when only leaders could talk without interruption. Now that WhatsApp is constantly being updated, it may bring PiP (Picture-in-Picture) functionality with wider applications in the future.
