Another surprising change that makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable more attractive is the internal engine quality. The detection of the processor leak means that it is likely that the new variant will use Samsung’s Exynos SoC instead of the Snapdragon processor. The bold move is Snapdragon which Samsung usually reserves for its flagship Z Fold and Z Flip lines. This is a departure from tradition.

The rumor originates from a Ravegnus insider leaker, who clearly states that this is not always possible. Certainly, they won’t be surprised to find Exynos chipwork inside the Z Flip’ 6. This may seem strange since both the Z Flip 5 and its older version Z Flip 4 are running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for Galaxy chipsets.

The assumption remains that the two Z Fold Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 will be using the latest Snapdragon 8 for the Galaxy 3 Gen. However, if this is factual, it could suggest that Europe and similar regions may have the Exynos Z Flip as its variant.

The report mostly focuses on the Z Flip 6 model and keeps the fate of the Z Fold 6 as an unknown item. However, the Z Fold 6 remains the same (namely the Snapdragon track), as it can’t match the top-tier performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 despite featuring improvements over the Exynos 2400.

This pair may also be released in July respectively. However, a New York-based event in Paris, France is likely to take place on July 10. The tournament schedule can perhaps be partly explained by the fact that the Olympic Games will be held in the same city the following month. Samsung has not made any announcement yet regarding the launch timing; So keep an eye out for any official release hints.
