The Samsung Galaxy S25 flagship could be the first Galaxy phone in years to outperform its Apple counterpart in terms of CPU performance, potentially providing the acceleration needed for current applications. Newsworthy, the documents mention that the S25 shows off a faster processor and RAM than the expected 16 Pro.

While these two main changes could be the catalyst for this remarkable change. To start, Samsung and chip maker SK Hynix are said to be rolling out a series of new production lines of cutting-edge RAM, called LPDDR6 DRAM. Furthermore, this advancement in mobile phone memory results in powerful processing speeds that are necessary for performing complex AI tasks on a chip, for example. No official details have been revealed yet regarding LPDDR6’s specifications, but it is expected to be another major enhancement over the existing LPDDR5, which will hopefully help ease tight workloads.

Furthermore, he says that the S25 is equipped with a Galaxy 8 Gen 4 Snapdragon processor (the latest technology). The processor (chip) is equipped with an Orion brand CPU developed by Nuvia, a specialist in high-end processing units. Such cores are already popping up in next-generation Windows laptops from S8 Gen Elite processors, and they’re better than the average CPU core of the latter, which is what Apple’s A18c Pro chip will take. Qualcomm’s industry-leading CPU, memory management, and graphics combined with the Galaxy S25 could be the small edge that makes this phone the leader in performance, graphics, and memory processing speed over the iPhone 16 Pro.

This is interesting news for those who support Android alternatives as the respective roles of the mobile platform arms may change. This shows the growth in stability and willingness to go further from the Samsung company and sheds light on whether or not this is going to be an issue in the smartphone display wars. But it may take some time for details and official benchmarks to be shared, due to which we will have to wait till then. So, assuming the Galaxy S25 is the flagship device of that year, then it will become a serious contender for the fastest smartphone of that year.
