Unsuccessful gamers who are looking for the next level may find this discouraging. With new rumors of a PlayStation 5 upgrade (PS5 Pro) still emerging, it looks like The Verge’s Tom Warren (a reliable industry source) has some interesting news on specifications.

According to reports, some PS5 Pro documents have been leaked and now industry experts think it will be a revised console rather than an entirely new one. The internal CPU is unchanged, but “High CPU Frequency Mode” can now be selected as an option and can provide a 10% performance increase. It will be left up to the development team to decide whether they need these features for any of their games. RAM performance data has seen an increase from 12.5GB to 13.7GB with some available headroom.

If these changes may seem small at the moment, what’s more exciting is what’s happening in other aspects of the theme. Warren believes that like Sony, AMD has explored different options inside the GPU (graphics unit). There’s the Ada Lovelace card art, and it’s billed as the PS5 Pro’s biggest advancement, with the mysterious art card coinciding with a previously unseen GPU upgrade that made the game feel more massive than it would with the same amount of manual labor.

However, these have remained mere leaks. The mysteries related to PS5 Pro will remain unsolved until Sony company shows its cards now. However, developer kits leaked and rumors surfaced indicating that it was possible to see a reimagined version of the PlayStation with higher levels of power.
