Indeed, Google of late has updated its logo to the current version and it has unveiled a new, 3D-structured robot for Android and other new developments. Pixel phones which are now in their third beta stage will be moving from that buggy look to this fresh appearance, which is part of the Android 14 QPR3 Beta program.

The new image of the Pixel logo, which is not fresh to the users at all, typically appears at the first step, and the following one is a dynamic `G` symbol that synchronizes with your phone’s color scheme. It is Android at the bottom followed by “Powered by Android” in the next line.

The current beta implementation now has the “Powered by” logo in the center that includes a newer more modern Android wordmark. We put this together as a key design element; the “A” letter becomes more prominent and many other letters are adjusted in subtle ways. Another leave of affirmative Android logo comes after this.

Interestingly, many of the devices offered, other than Pixel Tab, still have bear old logo. This implies a unification spiling in different Pixel models before the full production of the new chipset commences.

It is quite odd that some other brands such as the Honor Magic 6 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra have got their boots 3D Android logo which is earlier done by Samsung. The new Samsung flagship device in the Galaxy S24 series also has the updated wordmark as a logo.

The update however brings a slightly bigger boot animation too which is clear by the fact that the first display screen shows a slightly wider Google logo.

While others may not see it as an issue that a mere visual treatment wasn’t applied with the Android 14 release or the launch of the Pixel 8, it is still commendable that Google chooses to bring a more current look and feel to their mobile OS as a move forward. While the logo is undergoing a redesign, there is an added expectation that Android will be deploying the more extensive adoption of the 3D mascot across the various platforms after the launch.
