Pixel 9: rain or shine, your touch matters

If you are having difficulties using your phone in the wetness, this product is perfect for you. ‘Could Pixel 9 be the answer?’ Google goes down a path of an “Adaptive Touch” feature that can be simply used for the screen sensitivity adjustment for fingers moisturized or protected.

Hints in the Android 14 beta software can tell that it is likely that Pixel 9 (with P24 code name) will be the first device. Moisture may be a surprisingly ordinary and frequent issue in our day-to-day lives, so being confident that your phone won’t die of a splashed droplet is crucial. This task can be performed by the Aqua Touch mode functionality of the OnePlus 12.

Celebrated capabilities may even include another activity, however, the fine print is still secret. The screen damage detection functionality is already part of the Pixel 8 which has a “screen protector detector”. Adaptive Touch can be an extension of this.

We will find out whether it is exclusive to Pixel 9 or if it is going to be available on other models. This is one shout I’ve got to hear first-hand. But one thing’s for sure: being the event of using a phone in any area of your life would be a smooth thing with Pixel 9.
