Spring is coming again, and it looks like [really soon] one of the most anticipated devices is upon us – the new Google Pixel 8a! With the recent appearance of the FCC which is like a pre-requisite [before any smartphone can hit the market], we have other exciting news.
These rules that apply to devices such as cell phones and other wireless devices may be largely unknown to the public and will be explained. Its objective is to ensure that the equipment concerned conforms not only to safety but also to other operational standards. Like Apple, Google also denies any hint of delay by submitting its phones for approval well in advance. The FCC filing is possible for half of the Pixel 8a models with model numbers (G8HHN, GKV4X, G6GPR, and G576D). Different models now target a particular region or have advanced features tied to the latest 5G mmWave technology.
As Google prepares to make Pixel A-series smartphones available in the middle of the year, this FCC filing hints at the date of its upcoming Pixel 8a phones. Renders have already been leaked, showing the phone side-by-side and its packaging, including the model number G6GPR, which matches the new FCC listing.
Here’s what we can expect: A new mid-range Pixel 8a device from Google, along with its features and specifications, could be showcased on May 14, which is the next I/O conference. This launch is a successor to their previous May I/O conferences, which are known for hardware announcements and introductions of future products.
It is reported to have a Tensor G3 processor at the same level as the Pixel 8, the flagship model in the middle of the price bracket. Although the screen size is almost the same as the Pixel 7a (about 6.1 inches), offhand leaks have indicated a possible price increase, and the Pixel 8a could reach $549.
So Pixel Store, get ready, a new and exciting experience is in store for you! With spring comes days of sunshine and good news – it’s also likely to be the official reveal of the long-awaited Pixel 8a.
