The Apple iPhone 15 Pro is being sold with a Turbo Engine modification that lets it switch out the shutter with an action button. The new push-button may enable users to navigate features, but is it a worthy successor? We confirmed the user experience of iPhone 15 Pro users who purchased the latest iPhone phones.
Incredibly, more than half of them (50.6%) did not even remember using the action button, that is, only a quarter of the participants. For many people, this is a place that does not come into consideration. From frequent use (59%) to occasional use like a camera or flashlight, the lock screen of iPhones also works as a charm.
Although the group of 12.6% enthusiasts embraces me, the former still dominates. They use the famous Shortcuts feature which gives you an extremely strong ability to automate any operation. On the other hand, having the button on the iPhone seems like a popular choice for Apple. However, keep in mind that the capture button may make this functionality redundant.
Electricity users demand more or ‘discounts’. They demand the flexibility to set inline actions after any press of the action button, with single, double, or even triple presses available.
Will Apple listen? As far as the iPhone 16 is concerned, this could highlight the absurdity of 3D Touch’s unusual as well as underutilized capabilities.
