Get ready with Google’s new and well-known functions Along with the Wear OS platform. Google Wallet Passes are now available on Wear OS smartwatches. With the Google Wallet Passes, user can access boarding passes, event tickets, fitness memberships, loyalty cards, and more from their wrists.
Google Maps for Wear OS now allows you to check transit routes directly from your smartwatch. Now you don’t need to take out your phone. Just glance at your wrist to make sure you’re catching your bus, train, or ferry on time. Google claims you can find out departure times and get route directions right on your watch. If you prefer to use your phone, you can get directions on your watch while still being hands-free.
Google also unveiled a redesigned Fitbit app, which some users disliked at first. Health Connect now supports a wider range of wearables than just Fitbit. The Fitbit app for Android displays your Fitbit information as well as stats from other apps. You’ll find your daily activity, steps, calories burned, floors climbed and distance traveled under several tabs.
