Forget texting and emoticons – the new Google Messaging will enable you to enhance the visual experience with selfie GIFs. The latest version of this tool will let you create videos of less than three seconds using your phone’s front camera and then send them to chat instantly.

Imagine the ways you would smile half-heartedly when texting a friend or responding humorously to a joke. Using selfies as GIFs online to personalize your communication and make an impact is a better way to express your mood and emotions than using a still image in your conversations.

Reaching them is easy. Switch to a better chat app by simply tapping the camera button. A separate interface with the settings displayed will pop up to remind you that the countdown timer will run shortly, and video recording will start automatically. Are you feeling ashamed? It is also represented by a red button that acts as a record to document the moment itself. Selfie GIFs are very small and the point is to send it as it is because it’s just about expressing a thought.

Its delivery status is still early, and a support page is already available, which is a clear indication that this functionality is going to be launched soon. While we wait for the official release, one thing is for sure: Google as a messaging service is pushing some more features to make Messages conversations more entertaining and colorful!
