Have you ever wished that you could recognize the caller just by the characteristics of the ringtone? Google Contacts on Android is about to turn that dream into reality thanks to a new feature called “Contact Ring Tone.”
It’s easy to imagine that you would be in a setting where you would see your contacts with associated ringtones, be able to add contacts easily and manage them more easily. Google Contacts does this seamlessly. This recent trend of less and less one-on-one contact and conversation simplification can save you from many issues and troubles.
Previously, whenever someone wanted to set a custom ringtone, perhaps in each contact’s information, it was a task that required more concentration than for those with long contact lists. But don’t be afraid! On the “Contact Ringtones” menu, on the “Fix and manage” page, you will already see the list of Mozilla custom ringtones that can be set to just a few touches.
This aspect is especially beneficial for Pixel users as the app works smoothly with the Pixel Sound interface for ringtone selection. Therefore, it can give a unique sound to the Android device. Flexibility is the essence: the app provides you with pre-made sounds, but you can also import your sound files, and thus you not only have your special alert, but you can also choose the music for it.
So, no more boring ringtones and make your ringtone like me instead! As of today, the S4 build is only found as updates from Google servers. Haspx PX, simply disable the application and see the magic (thanks to TheSpAndroid for noting the resulting results!).
