Apple certainly has the greater technical ability to reduce interface frames on its iPhones. This technology tackles a long-standing challenge: getting in the way of a thick bottom bezel.
Due to the trick used which is basically “unwrapping the copper wires from the bottom up”, this becomes component-free, which means more space and an almost no bezel look. This trend-breaking change makes all four models of the iPhone 16 different in terms of their eligibility for this feature, which isn’t something we typically see from Apple, which typically only has advanced features for iPhones Pro.
