Gemini gets real-time: chatting with your assistant just got more natural

From now on, interact with your simulated assistant with better involvement. An influencer known on the internet as AssembleDebug recently revealed a discovery suggesting that Gemini Assistant is about to introduce a new feature, codenamed “Real-Time Reply.”

Imagine this: you won’t get a reply from Gemini once it’s fully compiled and then spit out; Rather, you will see the actual development of meaningful dialogue while conversing, which is quite rare. This is something special they added when hiding it in the app, so we’ll probably be able to use it manually soon by pressing a few buttons on the device.

Think of it like watching someone write: Gemini will show you the answer to each question one by one, allowing you to put it all together in the time it takes to process the question. In the present moment, it dissolves all the answers at once. It may seem like it’s just a small improvement to the user interface, but it can make the experience of talking to your Assistant as if they’re talking to you.

Although the practical benefits may be negligible, the inclusion of “real-time reactions” can bring a more human element to Gemini-Human relationships, making them seem more natural and satisfying. Just imagine that you ask a question, and Gemini develops the answer himself the moment you ask as if your guy-friend is always thinking about your request.

But that’s not all! The update here also appears to introduce a new switch for “Use location from your device,” meaning Gemini now restores more control over your whereabouts.

Needless to say, it has been confirmed that the features will not be released for more than a few days, which will certainly appear in the menu where the settings will be stored. And that’s not the only good news for Gemini fans: … some subtleties ultimately indicate these wind up on music streams by Spotify services. Now we have a delightful Gemini interface that is even more interactive and full of special features.
