As we all know Battlefield 2042 failed to live up to the expectations of all of us gamers when it was released in 2021. Despite later efforts to improve things, it remains one of the least accomplished “Battlefield” games ever made. Insider Gaming recently obtained some information about Battlefield. Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zempalla is now directing the series, with Christian Grass also in charge. There is also a firm called Ripple Effect that works on new content for Battlefield.

Insider Gaming reported that multiple Battlefield projects are under development, all as part of a new Battlefield world. EA CEO Andrew Wilson said the next big Battlefield game won’t be released until 2025.

The next game will return to basics, featuring a 64-player mode, the traditional four-tier system, and improved visual destruction. It will be set in the present day, between 2025 and 2030, with the plot involving modern warfare technology.

Ripple Effect is also developing a battle royale game similar to “Call of Duty: Warzone,” which will be free. Insider Gaming speculates that the next “Battlefield” may have a battle royale option.
