Brace yourself for a newer and better way of controlling your sound output from your phone! As part of a major makeover, Android version 15 accompanying this change is introducing a new design and some innovative features.
The ticker panel now (tried to be) accessed through a volume key, then with any of the three dots, gives the impression that it’s too “old” school. It has the separation of media and calls which are displayed a tad thin and not well-rendered side by side with a thin ring only and notifications that nothing is eye-catching.
Android 15 changes this. The new design incorporates strongly pill-shaped, wider levers with a tactile feel that provides superior grip control and adjustability. Clicking the little icons next to each slider icon lets you mute this particular sound source immediately, which comes in handy if you occasionally need to instantly silence some notifications for example during a meeting
But the best new feature might be though this is not the case considering what adds more value. Windows media shouldn’t play when the panel collapses to show all sound alerts. Meanwhile, when music or videos come on, it deftly reduces itself, and peers only the volume slider towards the volume of media. This application still enables you to expand the brief view at the tap of a button if you want to have full control.
There is also a persistent media output channel, largely consisting of movies and TV shows that portray specific illnesses, bodily functions, and medical interventions. Permits you to see or even to switch to which device your audio is under where these could be headphones or speakers. This is quite an enhancement, as previously a shortcut only appeared in the row when media was being played.
Besides these basic modifications, however, the Google team pays special attention to the possibility of adding little effects here and there. As the slider position moves, the slider name rotates smoothly which clearly shows which sound you are editing. Besides the current volume level, you can also quickly check the display that shows the volume temporarily, while the visual feedback is very precise.
It is not around claim yet in the default setting, whispers hinting possibly it will possibly be available in the Android 15 beta. This revamp will give you a more intuitive and easier pathway to how you so much engage with the settings that your phone is always playing around with.
