Google Calendar is no longer using “Appointment Slots” and has moved to “Appointment Schedule”. The scheduling option of “Appointment Schedule” is more robust than the old “Appointment Slots”.

Imagine your appointment schedule as a more advanced version of block scheduling. Below them, they claim all the benefits that you can get from it but show that booking is easy and you have other additional benefits too.

  • Flexibility: Setting the booking time interval between two appointments and the minimum number of appointments to be booked per day.

Google has announced a “new type of appointment schedule” as more convenient and better as it is the central tool for better booking.

What to do

  • Mark your calendars: The schedule will return to completely end appointments by July 18, 2024. The slots will remain valid, although you may have to get some others for a temporary period as the transfer process is not worked out. finished yet.
  • Recreate with ease: That’s good news! Setting up a booking book again after the schedule is completed will not be problematic.
