Key Points:
- Google Messages has finally shifted the focus to beta testers with Voice Moods and an Audio section redesign.
- The revised audio recorder interface includes a noise-canceling effect and the interface has been made as simple as possible to ease the process of recording voice memos.
- Another feature of RCS, “Voice Moods”, animates emoji backgrounds for audio messages to further improve the overall conversation experience.
Recently, Google Messages has attempted to add more creative features, which have enabled beta users to create Color Moods and more newly modified audio recorders for the wider market, respectively. The UI of the audio recorder has been modified and it is easy to use by just pressing a button that will pop up when you talk to the other person on the screen. In addition to a clearer recording user interface, users now have improved noise cancellation and capture audio messages with much higher quality.
Additionally, the Mic Drop feature is specifically designed for entertaining RCS conversations, with nine colorful emoji backgrounds along with subtle playful teaser animations designed to spark additional interest in the user. It should be noted that recording only works for RCS, new recorders sending SMS/MMS will be able to capture shots of the interface on which they will not be able to mess with the record button. Google Messages strives to be both functional and attractive in messaging services. It promotes content sharing and the use of emojis in its cross-platform way of communicating with people.
