We’ve probably all experienced this situation – staring intently at your phone in bed, knowing it causes eye problems, yet unable to resist the siren allure of the glow at night. Additionally, Android no longer predates PhoneSomething but its latest incarnation helps the eyes readjust.

The upcoming Android 15 update brings an exciting new feature: Enable “Power-Saver” or “Low-Power” mode. These options for blue light holders and extra dims aren’t particularly different. Below you will understand how it became the backbone of the modern market.

One of the first problems you’ll notice with cheap phone screens, though, especially budget ones, is that they may not get as dark as they should at night. The additional dimming mode does what it’s supposed to do, but it is musical, requiring manual on and off, thus, the inconvenient aspect should be taken into account.

For Android 15, the smart choice seems to be a black mode called “Even Dimmer.” This ensures that it harmonizes with the newly introduced “Adaptive Brightness” feature that automatically changes the screen brightness according to the surrounding conditions. The advanced Adaptive Brightness in “Even Dimmer” allows complete control over the screen’s brightness, with the actual possibility of dimming it in complete darkness.

Imagine this: goodbye to the traditional “dim” mode and its inevitable “extra dimming” every night. With Auto Mode enabled, the viewing mode on your phone will be adjusted so that you have a comfortable level of brightness and vision while reading at night or during the day. However, this is not only for convenience purposes but may also be better for the sleep cycle as high screen brightness is considered a risk factor for sleep disruption.

Since the “Even Dim” method is not yet present in the Android 15 beta version, this is a future addition that comes with some promises. This can be a great addition for mobile users who are third shift drivers and for individuals who prefer a more comfortable phone experience in the evening.
