Despite everyone being aware that the Pixel Watch 3 is coming soon, some believe that improvements like removing all bezels or increasing the screen size are temporary. Some designers (from decoded screenshots) indicate the upcoming release of an update that will bootstrap the connection between your Pixel Watch and a paired smartphone.

We’ve already got an idea of this approach increasing satisfaction as it includes features like bedtime and do-not-disturb syncing from the watch to the phone. However, Google also doesn’t see any hindrance. It seems that in the next update, developers will be able to implement a feature that will simplify the approval process for app permissions, allowing your watch to grant the same permissions that have already been confirmed on the phone. This action of authorization is seen as a negotiation of a good UX, which is improved thanks to being able to delegate to users only the permissions they need.

Just think of the joy of constantly confirming different apps instead of having to do different setups. So, these contactless features indicate Google’s desire to improve the Pixel Watch device, which is not just a counterpart to a phone but also an extension of your phone. Such a move could prove to be a strong tool that helps build the Pixel Watch as a representative of wearability and a prologue to future wearable technology.
