Plus, a classic black and white version for that special crowd of night owls and art fans! Google Arts & Culture also has a dark shade layer. It was a party of artistic marvels. It’s the freshness we were craving for and the fact that it has replaced the hot temperatures with cool but equally enjoyable themes makes the experience even better making it perfect for late-night museum explorations. Makes it right.

Originally the app had a beautiful light mode with colorful gradients, but dark mode now makes its appearance with a more attractive new theme. The app title and buttons including filters are all dark instead of white, and the screen background is also the same dark color but with relaxing tones. Not only does it ensure that our eyes are well rested but it also matches the recently created Google Arts & Culture logo with its dark colors.

What comes across clearly is not a mere swapping of colors. The content you use gets redesigned (think about the style you apply to your wallpaper – the app received a brand new unique design in August last year). Also, the link switcher will be upgraded to Material Design after some improvements are made on the front end.

Although dark mannerism is generally implemented, you are of course able to personalize your theme options. The app offers you an amazing variety of themes such as the new dark mode, and classical light theme, and settings that follow the system settings whatever the user prefers. The new release also adds the elegant M3 Material toggle switch in the Settings menu which further brings a modern approach to it.

Now, not only does it support both Android and iOS devices, but version 10.9.x has also been made available on those devices. Now, with this particular artistic app going to the dark side this time, the other app in this group that is still hungry for dark mode, which is Google Opinion Rewards, has also started to emerge. Let us wish that in the future, customers who avail of Google Play Credit through surveys will no longer have to go through those tedious processes.
