Calling all audiophiles! I believe that to improve Pixel Buds Pro, not only the speaking ability should be the point of focus, but also the battery life. There are indications that this may happen. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 has not been announced by Google yet, but a recent leak suggests a larger battery capacity on the charging case. This may also indirectly indicate adding more battery power to the earbuds.

A pair of eagles from 91Mobiles, bird watchers who are always on the lookout (for such things), have spotted the latest Pixel Buds Pro 2 case undergoing battery certification. This certification process is often a prelude to the unveiling of a formal product launch, and hence, hints that we may see something announced soon. One of the sites, representing UL Demco (Denmark) and the other Safety Korea (South Korea), mentioned the certifications, adding further evidence to the validity of the leak.

For now, the rumor has been shared with a little information that the model number of the case is GH8TQ, the battery life may be related to this. In comparison, the latest Pixel Buds Pro are designated as GA34L and GQGM1 model numbers. On the other hand, it is tagged as GPX4H. The similarities to the five-character alphabet structure starting with “G” enhance the case that Google follows suit with its next generation of true wireless earbuds.

The month of May is over and Google I/O is on May 14th. This could be prime time for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to make their dream debut.

Certificates do not refer to ordered component specifications, although they do contain information about the manufacturer’s plans. Leaked information shows that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 case ratio can reach 650 mAh, which is an increase of 40 mAh from the previous 620 mAh battery. As AI’s efficiency in powering the battery improves, we’ll be able to enjoy longer periods of listening to the earbuds, but the situation is unclear.

The new earbuds can take advantage of the charging case’s larger batteries for more play hours, even if they still can’t last a long listening session on just a single charge — a big upgrade, certainly on the audio leaderboard. Attracting the chaser’s attention.
