I want to blurt it out in your face: How about this high-end, faster-than-blazing Circle to Search feature on the branded Galaxy S24? For some problematic users, it has broken and is not working properly.
For new users, searching by shapes is an easy and enjoyable way to search, due to the ‘no-type’ factor. Just like you’ve seen some beautiful shoes on Instagram or whenever you scroll through your social media feed, you may also want to learn more. To place your shoes simply tap and hold the navigator from the screen. There will be a shoe icon next to you asking for directions, just tap and yes there it is! The Internet is where you say “Birr, Birr, Boom,” and the correct answer pops up.
Here’s the rub: Some Samsung users are getting the annoying message warning that the system has “many matches for your search” when they try to use Circle to search. We have spent several IT sessions so far, and the problem is either resolved by simply restarting the phone, or the annoying error message keeps reoccurring.
However, even more people have experienced success by downgrading pre-upgrade versions of Google apps, which suggests that may be the culprit party here.
Good News? Although it’s really hard to say whether the decision on both the S24 Ultra and S24+ will result in any failure to update Google apps on the Ultra, we tested Search Circle for the latter and it worked wonders on both devices. The problem seems to be a limited phenomenon.
Possibly due to this very problem, it’s amusing to hear how Circle Ceach was first included in the S24 series. Although there are some troublesome aspects now, they will be fixed soon as per the bug fixes process. While you’re waiting for the next update to implement Circle to Search, you might want to avoid updating the Google app on your S24 Ultra if Circle to Search is stuck with you.
